In 2016, through mutual introductions and persistence with the DJ/Artists, 1NE curated, booked and produced this showcase smack dab in Wynwood for Art Basel. Dubfire was day one with his first hybrid set in the US. Dubfire’s live show reinvents the concert experience, by seamlessly weaving together elements of 2D and 3D animation with live audio to explore the intersection of science and technology – of man and machine – and their resulting evolution and fusion. The next day was also a first in Florida, for the DJ label Dirtybird, and their respective BBQ. Both shows were a 'smashing' success with over 4000 in attendance through both days. Also attached to the main event, but open to all, we had an art beer garden in partnership with Becks and Duvel. Throughout this event we featured local bands along with various grafiti artists and performers. Overall this was a fun and unique project that our attendees and us will never forget!
